Patreon makes things way easier.
Previously I just did things and 'put them in a drawer' and only dug them out when I had the time\interest, and now I have a schedule & a motivator.
Thanks to my Patrons, I bought myself an 960GB SSD, an external hard drive and a drawing tablet (a display one), which will make my work miles easier. Hopefully the packages will reach me soon enough (I'm writing this on Dec 30, 2020)
I wanted to focus on an overall PC upgrade first, but the computer parts in late 2020 are almost all 'out of stock' and the ones remaining have seen the prices rise, so I think I'll wait. The new SSD made my system feel 9 years younger.
So, the money will be spent:
- On storage, so I will never experience another data loss (happened in December),
- On new computer parts. I'm currently running an AMD FX 8350 with a (fried and faulty) AMD Radeon R9 270X videocard (used).
- On my education & programs.
When I hit 50 patrons, I will release ALT1:UNP-CBBE-DG-Vanilla free for all, as well as ALT1:DEM in 4K with all options for free.
I will also release 2K versions (instead of 1k previews) for ALT1 addons, such as ALT1: Hands, Facepacks, Makeups, etc. That includes all future updates.
Max. res. versions of addons (4K) and Eva\Lilith (8K) textures will be available for Patrons as downloads, released monthly (in addition to content I'm creating) from the moment of hitting 50 patrons, so everyone receive an upgrade. Yes, even if after that the patronage will drop, the downloads will stay.
And in case there's ever 100 patrons, I will just make all of my content free.
